| Before installation you must disable any virus scanning utilities and all other programs you may have running. These will interfere with the installation. Some anti-virus software is very difficult to turn off. If this is the case, we recommend starting the computer in safe mode and then installing the program. See Installing the Program in Safe Mode. |

| The first disk in your CD set is labeled Software Disk. This disk is used to load the software on your computer. The additional disks labeled H1, H2, W1, W2, & W3 are the picture libraries. They should not be loaded until after installation of the software is complete and you have an icon on your desktop. | ||
| If you have autorun enabled, the installation should begin when you insert the CD. You can also locate and run the file SetupProIV.exe on the CD. | ||
| If your system does not have the latest MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) or JET engine, the installer may need to update these components before HORTICOPIA Professional can be installed. These components require that your system be rebooted so as a result you may need to reinitiate the install process. Your system may need to reboot up to 3 times before installation is complete. When installation is complete, you should see a HORTICOPIA Professional icon on your desktop and under the Start menu | Programs. | ||
