First, install your Expert Notes (Pruning and Planting or Pests and Diseases).  Insert the CD into the drive.
  1. When you are prompted, click on the space "Install for use with Professional/A to Z".

  2. Select a directory to use for the installation.  The default location is suitable most of the time.
  3. After installation is complete, open Professional (or A to Z).  For Professional, go to the Favorites menu and select Added Notes Manager.  For A to Z, go to the Lists menu and select Added Notes Manager.

  4. Click on Install Added Notes from a local file... button.

  5. Then browse to the directory you chose in step number 2.  Directly inside this directory should be an XML file (either pestsdis.xml or pruning.xml).
  6. Click on this file and click on the Open button.  You should see your Expert Notes appear in the window.  Click on OK.

After you complete this process, plants that have Expert Notes information will have an extra Added Notes tab when you open the plant information window.  It is in this Added Notes tab that you will find the Expert Notes information.
